CIC-Zero Carbon Park Guided Tour

CIC-Zero Carbon Park function as ‘green lungs’ for the high-density environment in Kowloon. The 1-hour guided tour will provide an in-depth introduction on the low-carbon and sustainable building design and technology of CIC-Zero Carbon Park . 

The guided tours are available on Monday to Saturday at 10am and 2pm, and Sunday and public holidays (except the first to third day of Lunar New Year) at 10am, 2pm and 4pm. Tours are free of charge and offered in Cantonese, English and Putonghua. Groups of 10 or more are welcome to make advance bookings. CPD Attendance Certificate will be issued upon request after the tour.

MiC Resources Centre

Construction Innovation and Technology Application Centre

CIC-ZCP

The iHub guided tours connect 3 exhibition centres of Construction Industry Council (CIC), including Construction Innovation and Technology Application Centre (CITAC), CIC-Zero Carbon Park and MiC Resources Centre. Construction professionals, industry stakeholders, students and the public are welcome to explore the latest technology and industry development through our guided tours.

The guided tours are available at 10am and 2pm on Monday to Saturday (except public holidays). The tour is free of charge and can be conducted in Cantonese, English and Putonghua. Groups of 10 or more are welcome to make advance bookings. CPD Attendance Certificate will be issued on request after the visit.

Notes for Application

  1. Bookings can be made 5 to 60 days prior to the scheduled visit date.
  2. For iHub guided tours, the minimum number of participants is 10, and the maximum is 100 per time slot. Tours with more than 30 participants will be divided into groups.
  3. For CITAC, CIC – Zero Carbon Park and MiC Resources Centre guided tours, the minimum number of participants is 10, and the maximum is 30.
  4. All bookings are processed on a first-come, first-served basis. A confirmation email will be sent to the applicant once the booking is confirmed.
  5. Failure to provide sufficient or accurate information may affect the processing time and outcome of the application.
  6. The CIC reserves the right to approve or reject any application.
  7. Applicants wishing to cancel or change a confirmed booking may contact us via WhatsApp at 6156 0414 or by email to ihub@cic.hk.
  8. Visitors should arrive at the designated assembly point 15 minutes before the tour starts.
  9. Before the tour begins, each visitor aged 12 or above must register at the reception of the assembly point. Visitors are reminded to bring their own smartphones or other mobile devices to complete the online registration process. For visitors without a personal mobile device, a physical registration form will be available.
  10. The use of public transport is encouraged. Parking for persons with disabilities and Rehabus can be arranged in advance, subject to availability.
  11. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
  12. For safety reasons and to avoid injuries, visitors must comply with all posted notices and follow all directions or requests made by CIC staff. Please show common courtesy and refrain from using profanity or engaging in unsafe, illegal, or offensive behaviour during visits.
  13. Representatives are responsible for the behaviour and safety of their visiting groups throughout the visit.

Gear Zone

Act as the role of industry professionals such as surveyors, architects, and engineers to gain in-depth understanding of various professions and the application of surveying tools

DIY Zone

Explore innovative environmental-friendly building materials and experience the scanning process of heritage restoration using 3D scanners

Interactive Zone

Learn about the zero-carbon design strategies of the Zero Carbon Park through the application of Building Information Modelling (BIM)

Robotics Zone

Collaborate as a team to operate the robotic arms and various construction vehicles to complete scene simulation tasks

CIC-ZCP STEAM Lab will serve as an educational platform for exploring innovative construction techniques and industry knowledge as well as cultivating future talents in construction innovation to pursue carbon neutrality.

Primary students (P1–P6), secondary students (S1–S3), and educators are welcome to book a session. Guided tours last approximately one hour and are available Monday to Sunday at 10am, 2:30pm, and 4pm.
