- Construct Your Sustainable City – Sustainable Development for the Northern Metropolis
Innovation and technology are the keys to driving sustainable development. With the planning vision and strategy towards carbon neutrality in 2030, participants are requested to expand the Northern Economic Belt under the Hong Kong 2030+ and develop a holistic metropolis where is good for people to live in, work and travel. *Maximum 6 people for each team and according to 2021/22 school year

*Finalists will be shortlisted, and the team members need to prepare a presentation to the judging panel in October / November 2022.

Format and Submission
Format
- .mcworld file of Minecraft Education EditionMinecraft World (mcworld)
- All students who successfully register for the competition will be assigned a Free Minecraft Education account
Submission
- A completed neighbourhood in mcworld format
- Size 100 x 100 blocks for Primary School Division
- Size 150 x 150 blocks for Secondary School Division (S1-S3)
- Size 180 x 180 blocks for Secondary School Division (S4-S6)
- Introductory Video (within 3 mins)
- Introductory PowerPoint (within 15 slides)

Terms and Conditions
- There is no limit on the number of participating teams for each school; each team should consist of 1- 6 students; each student can join only one team in each division. Each team can only submit one entry.
- Each participating team needs to design and plan the development of the Northern Metropolis with the implementation of advanced construction technologies methodology.
- Participants warrant and guarantee that they are the sole owner of all copyrights of the Entry and to the best of their knowledge that no complaint or claim shall arise from any third party in respect of such Entry.
- If the content of the entry and / or the opinions or messages expressed in it conflict with the laws of Hong Kong, the participant must bear all responsibilities, and the Organiser shall in no circumstances be responsible.
- Any violation or infringement of the copyright or other related crimes, including but not limited to submission, reprinting, copying, and counterfeiting of the entries, by any participants will result in disqualification from the Competition. The Organisers own the copyright of the awarded entries.
- By joining the Competition, participants agree to accept that the Organiser has the right to display or publish selected entries from the Competition for, but not limited to, the following purposes: (i) printed publications and promotional materials, (ii) online publications, (iii) media, and (iv) exhibition without having to pay any fee to the participants.
- Once an application is submitted, participants and parents, guardians or authorised persons of participants who are under the age of 18 should have read and agreed to the Terms and Conditions of the Competition.
- The Organiser reserves all the rights on the arrangements of the event and awards. In case of any dispute, the Organisers reserve the right of final decision.
